Biomedical Scientist Job Description
- Speciality - Biochemistry
- Location - Bolton
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract Length - until end of Jan 2022
- Pay Rate - £26 per hour
- Band 6
- 37.5hrs per week - mixture of cores, lates, nights and weekends
- Working with all clinical chemistry staff - supporting current staffing shortage, Processing all urgent and ward samples, GP samples run same day, Approx 3,500 samples per day, Processing chemistry, serology, immunology, haematinics
- Roche 8000 series (2 lines), ISE, c702, e80, Roche sample sorter (single unit), p612 sorter with p471 centrifuge, Roche Infinity LIMS, Laboratory LIMS is LabCentre (Clinisys)
Requirements
- 1 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
