Occupational Therapy Job Description
- Specialty - Wheelchairs
- Location - Abell Gardens
- Start date - ASAP
- Contract Length - 3 Month
- Pay Rate - £25-30/hour
- Band 6
- Working Pattern: 37.5 hours
- Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 9:00-17:00
- Specific Skills: We are looking for an experienced wheelchair therapist, band 6 Physiotherapist or Band 6 Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist to support our team for the period of 4 months whilst the service is recruiting and have maternity leave cover. We cover the area of East of Berkshire and provide wheelchairs and specialist seating to a broad range of people (adults and children) including those with complex disabilities. We provide care in clinics, specialist schools, care homes and in patients home so the applicant ideally should be a car driver and own a car. We are looking for an AHP with excellent communication skills, a team player who enjoys working in a dynamic and evolving service and above all has a passion for supporting patients with complex needs. We require support for up to 37.5 hrs a week and could be flexible and agree working days with the candidate
Requirements
- 2 year(s) post graduate experience
- Valid Passport/Visa
- Fully compliant and cleared to work
- DBS or Police Check
- HCPC Registered
