Specialist Mental Health Practitioner Band 7/8a Job Description

• Children and Young People Services
• Surrey wide travel required
• Responsible for providing high quality therapeutic support and advice to children and young people, parents and families who present with a range of mental health and emotional needs in relation to the child's experience of sexual trauma
• A large part of the caseload is PTSD
• 4 months 
• Up to £34 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Must have experience be an Art or Drama Therapist or a Nurse that can work creatively 
• Must at least have experience working with sexual abuse in CAMHS/CYP
• DBS or Police Check
• Registered with relevant goverment body (HCPC, NMC)
