Clinical Psychologist Band 8a Job Description
- Early Intervention in Psychosis Service
- Multifaceted role which includes consultation, teaching and supervision roles, as well as active involvement in quality improvement projects, staff support initiatives and wider Trust initiatives
- Regular specialist supervision will be provided
- ASAP start until 31/01/2021
- Up to £32 per hour depending on experience
Requirements
- Must have experience of working in secondary mental health services within MDT context
- Ideally have experience working in Early Intervention Services
- Good knowledge of and skills in psychological asessment and formulation
- Good knowledge of CBT theory and practice
- Good knowledge of the issues around first episode psychosis and working with people with psychosis and mental health issues
- Excellent clinical and research skills
- Be keen to work flexibly and in a variety of settings
- Full clean driving licence
- Willingness to work flexibly to provide evening MDT working as and when required
- Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology
- DBS or Police Check
- Registered with relevant goverment body (HCPC)
