Doctor Job Description

• Speciality - Specialty Doctor Psychiatry | CAMHS  
• Location - Manchester
• Start date - ASAP
• Contract Length - Permanent (12-month Fixed-Term)
• Pay Rate - £59,000 to £95,000 per annum
• We are hiring a Specialty Doctor in CAMHS Psychiatry to join our dynamic Manchester-based CAMHS service on a fixed-term basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver psychiatric input for young people experiencing acute or chronic mental health challenges.
• Support early intervention and contribute to neurodevelopmental assessments.
• Benefit from weekly SPA time, CPD funding, and mentoring.
• CESR support is available for international applicants.

Requirements

• 1-2 year(s) specialist experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work (we can help with this)
• DBS/Police Check
• MBBS or equivalent
• GMC registration

Desirable

• MRCPsych OR MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists
