Doctor Job Description

• Speciality - Consultant Anaesthetist 
• Location - Manchester
• Start date - ASAP
• Contract Length - 12-month Fixed-Term Contract
• Pay Rate - £105,000 - £139,000 per annum
• We are inviting applications for a Locum Consultant in Anaesthetics to join a supportive team of 8 Consultants and a mix of Specialty Doctors and ACCPs. This is a 12-month fixed-term role covering a range of services including trauma, orthopaedics, ENT, gynaecology, and maternity.
• You’ll be part of a 1:8 Consultant-of-the-week rota, providing cover for Obstetrics and emergency theatres. The role includes both elective and emergency anaesthetic sessions, supervision of trainees, and participation in audit, teaching, and service development.

Requirements

• 1-2 year(s) specialist experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work (we can help with this)
• DBS/Police Check
• MB ChB, MBBS or equivalent
• MRCP, FRCA or equivalent
• GMC-registered or eligible for GMC registration with a licence to practice at time of appointment
