Doctor Job Description

• Speciality - Consultant Anaesthetist 
• Location - London 
• Start date - ASAP
• Contract Length - 6-month contract
• Pay Rate - £85 - £120 per hour
• We are seeking an experienced Locum Consultant Anaesthetist for a 6-month post at a major London teaching hospital.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality anaesthetic services across general, trauma, and orthopaedic theatres
• Participate in on-call rota for emergency and obstetric anaesthesia
• Support pre-operative assessment, intraoperative care, and post-op management
• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to trainees and junior doctors
• Engage in audit, service improvement and clinical governance

Requirements

• 1-2 year(s) specialist experience
• Valid Passport/Visa
• Fully compliant and cleared to work (we can help with this)
• DBS/Police Check
• GMC registration with a valid license to practice
• Right to work in the UK
• NHS experience
