CAMHS Practitioner Band 7 Job Description

• Clinical Psychologist / Psychological Therapist Band 7 or Social Worker or Family Therapist
• CAMHS LD Service - multi-agency service that gives both families and professionals a single point of contact for information, referrals, assessments and appropriate help for young children with special education needs and disabilities
• The postholder will provide specialist and intensive psychological assessment, support and therapeutic intervention to support positive change for the young people and their families and the network around them 
• West London
• 3 months (possibility of extension)
• Up to £35 per hour depending on experience

Requirements

• Must have experience of working with children and young people and learning disabilities
• Must have experience of CYP with LD who are showing extremely challenging behaviour and complex mental health difficulties
• Doctoral level training in Clinical Psychology (for Clinical/Counselling Psychologists)
• Relevant qualification and registration for Social Workers/Family Therapists/Psychotherapists
• DBS or Police Check
• Registered with relevant goverment body (HCPC/Social Work England etc)
