SEN Teacher Job in Surrey – September 2020 – Long Term Cover

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced teacher to join a wonderfully successful SEN school in Surrey. The school is for students with a wide range of complex needs including Down’s Syndrome, ASD and Global Developmental Delay.

• Long term cover SEN Teacher role
• Classroom of 5-8 pupils aged 8-9
• Full time Monday – Friday
• Competitive daily rates of pay

The ideal teacher will be able to plan, deliver and assess lessons that focus on a sensory curriculum, have good behaviour and classroom management skills, have a proven track record as a "good" teacher and bring passion and commitment to their job.

Requirements

• QTS / PGCE
• An understanding and experience of an SEN environment
• Good-Outstanding lesson/placement grades
• Strong classroom-based references
• A Valid DBS/police checks
• Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa)
• A successful track record of improving pupils performance
